Custom artwork for this invitation was designed to be printed directly on the paper purchased at Invites All About Paper. Black envelopes were used and addressed in silver ink. Some envelopes were designed with individual names so that they could be handed out at school while others were fully addressed and matching return address labels were designed to carry the pirate theme throughout the whole invitation. The mailed invitations had stickers similar to the middle picture on the back flaps of the envelopes. All addressing used pirate terms for the invitees.
Pricing for this invitation would be determined by the number of invitations needed, stickers used, etc. The artwork, because it is lengthy and all in Old English, would be $75.00.

This birthday party invitation paper was purchased from and printed at Paper Affair at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead. I designed camera-ready artwork for the body copy that they then printed in the green to match the invitation. The envelopes were decorated with Buzz Lightyear stickers and addressed in the same green ink. Prices vary for this type of invitation depending on the paper you choose; the camera-ready artwork is ranges in price from $50.00 to $75.00.

Although it does not look like traditional calligraphy, the font on this invitation was specifically chosen and written to look like a child's handwriting, including backwards "n's" in the quote by the birthday boy. Each of these were handwritten on the front of this invitation and would cost appoximately $6.00 each to handwrite them or a $50.00 artwork fee if you wanted to take them to a printer to have them printed onto the invitation.
