I prefer that you give me a typed black and white copy of your list with your envelopes (please do not highlight or shade columns as this makes your list very hard to read). I will print one that is emailed to me if it is in Microsoft Word, Adobe or Excel but please be surethat all columns will show up on one page before you send it to me. There will be an additional $25.00 charge for time spent reformatting spreadsheets to be workable. I will also print off lists typed into "The Knot" or "Wedding Channel" wedding planners as long as your list is complete when I do so. You must specify exactly how you want your inner and outer envelopes addressed, including whether your singles will be invited with guests or not, etc. If you have any other questions regarding how to provide your list, please do not hesitate to ask!
You can address your envelopes to your guests however you are comfortable and what is in keeping with the theme of your wedding, but for a link to check proper etiquette, click here. You do not have to spell out states, post office box, etc. but I do when I address your invitations. When I have finished addressing them, I double-check your entire order and then I apply a thin, transparent layer of wax over words on the outer envelope to protect them from the environment. This helps to ensure that your invitation arrives in mint condition and makes the most spectacular impression to your guests!
I do provide assembly and mailing service. (click here for more information) My team and I assemble all parts of your invitations, scent the tissues if desired, seal them and take them directly to the post office to have them hand-cancelled. This is especially helpful to you in that it saves you time, plus cuts down on the cost of return postage for the envelopes to you if you had to mail them to me to begin with. If I mail them for you, you must take one of your invitations assembled in full to the post office and have them weighed to determine how much postage they will need and then purchase the stamps for them for them. It is very important to make sure you include all parts of your invitation when you have them weighed - you do not want to spend the money on the invitations, the calligraphy and the stamps only to have them returned to you for insufficient postage!
